One way to perform this using Creo is to Save Copies and modify them from Creo Parametric.

4. Step 2 1. Choose where to save new top - assenbly 2. Check what parts/assemblies that are supposed to be modified, change them in the list to “Save a Copy” 3. Use Prefix or Suffix to add letters to the copied models name, then press “Generate New File Names” 4. Press Save a Copy

One way to perform this using Creo is to Save Copies and modify them from Creo Parametric. • Pros This do not require any additional licenses for Creo Easy to save new variances • Cons This cannot save copies of drawings for included sub - assemblies and parts in the structure. No higher intelligence for reusing the new copies

5. Step 3 1. Open the new Assembly, start modify the new copied objects. Note! If more objects needs to be modified in the new variance , save a copy of them as well and use replace command in the top - assembly

3. Step 1 1. Open the top - model in Creo that you want to create a new variance of 2. Save a new copy of the top - model using File à Save As à Save a Copy: Note! If you want to save a copy of the top - models drawing use the config.pro : rename_drawings_with_objects both This is only applicable if the top - model and its drawing have the same name e.g. 12345.prt & 12345.drw
