Common Issue - Publish Job is Stuck on Executing

Sometimes the jobs (CAD-objects and Office Documents) sent for publishing hang in the publishing queue due to various reasons. The models might be too large or corrupt.

This guide describes what to do when a publishing job hangs on Job Status ”Executing” in the WVS Job Monitor.

3. Step 1 – Go to Site > Utilities > Queue Management Step 2 – Filter out the PublisherQueues

2. Check WVS Job Monitor This guide describes what to do when a publishing job hangs on Job Status ”Executing” in the WVS Job Monitor The WVS Job Monitor is accessed via: Site > Utilities > WVS Job Monitor or Quick links > WVS Job Monitor

5. Step 5 – Check that the next publishing job has been moved to status Executing in the WVS Job Monitor and that the publishing is progressing If not, stop and Reload the worker in Worker Agent Administration , and then start it again

4. Step 3 – Check which PublisherQueue contains the object with status Executing (it is most likely PublisherQueue1) Step 4 – Select and Delete the job with status ” Executing ”
