2. WTPart Linked to Two Revisions of a CAD-Object This guide presents what to do when a WTPart is linked to two CAD-objects with di ff erent revisions In this example, some of the CAD-objects are linked by Owner link to a WTPart with a lower revision (see marked example):

3. Step 1 – Add the WTParts and CAD-objects to a new Workspace Step 2 – Revise the WTParts with the wrong revision and Exclude the CAD- object that is included in the selection. All objects should now have the same revision

4. Step 3 – Go to the information page and the Related Objects tab of one of the incorrectly linked WTParts and notice the linking is still incorrect Step 4 – Add the older versions of the CAD-object to the Workspace

7. Step 10 – Go to the information page and the Related Objects tab of one of the fi xed WTParts and notice that there is no related objects Step 11 – We will now create a new link. Go to your Workspace and select both WTPart and CAD-object (now with same revision) and select Edit > Edit Associations

5. Step 5 – We are now going to break the incorrect links. Select the WTParts (now with correct version) and click Edit > Edit Association Step 6 – Remove the incorrect link with Remove Association and click OK Step 7 – Check in the WTPart

8. Step 12 – Notice that a link is chosen by Windchill by default. Check that the link is an Owner link and that the revision is correct and click OK Step 13 – Go to the information page and the Related Objects tab of one of the fi xed WTParts and notice the CAD-object there, with the correct revision Step 14 - Check in the WTPart
