Sometimes an error occurs in the linking of a WTPart to a CAD-object, often due to a manual error. This guide present what to to when WTParts and CAD-objects have been revised separately. The link between the WTPart and the CAD-object is then incorrect.

2. WTPart Linked to Wrong Revision of CAD-Object This guide presents what to do when a WTParts and CAD-objects have been revised separately. The link between the WTPart and the CAD-object is incorrect. In this example, all CAD-objects are in revision B , but the WTPart linked to the CAD- objects are revision A

4. Step 5 – Update the CAD-object to the latest revision Step 6 – Select both CAD-object and WTPart and click Edit association Step 7 – Add an Owner link to the CAD-object via Add association

5. Step 8 – Check in the WTPart again Now the latest revision of the WTPart is linked to the latest revision of the CAD-object: If needed set fi lter to checked out

3. Step 1 – Add the WTPart to a new Workspace Step 2 – Select the WTPart and click Edit associations Step 3 – Select the Owner link and click Remove association Step 4 – After the modi fi cation is done check in the WTPart Note that the CAD-part with the Owner link is in revision A If needed set fi lter to checked out
